Mohamed S. Gaber Ali

Mohamed is a Ph.D. graduate student in Environmental Engineering at the Civil Engineering Department of the University of North Dakota. In 2015, he earned his bachelor’s degree in the Department of Chemistry at Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt. In 2020, he earned his master’s degree in Inorganic Chemistry at the Chemistry Department atHelwan University, Cairo, Egypt.
Since 2015, he has been working as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry, at Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt. In 2022, he was awarded a fellowship by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to conduct research as an exchange scholar at the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment, Arizona State University, United States.
His research interests are separation processes, including wastewater purification and remediation, pollution control, and resource recovery. Furthermore, he is interested in Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOPs), Electrochemical AOPs (EAOPs), Membrane Separations, and Adsorption processes.
He is married and has two kids. His hobby is adventure and exploring new places, cooking, and repairing old things.
