Undergraduate Research Assistant
Raymond is a freshman at the University of North Dakota studying biology. He graduated from New Salem-Almont High School in New Salem, North Dakota. He joined the Ersan Research Group in August of 2025. He is currently focusing on adsorption of PFAS by soybean-based adsorbents.
​
In New Salem, he observed the natural world through years of farm and ranch work. He also played a large role in numerous student and community organizations, particularly the New Salem Fire Department.
​
His hobbies are lifting weights, watching football, playing and listening to music, enjoying nature, and serving his community.
